The Pro series comes out of the box Remote Control ready whereas the Sportsman Series requires additional parts to become Remote Control compatible. I am looking at the 8 models. If you live bait fish and put a rod in the rod holders in the rear gunnel the 10 footers would interfere with the lines if you are dropping baits back in the current or trolling. If a tarpon was to hit and go sideways the 10 foot power pole would probably break the line.

I dont think you can do duel poles with the swim platform. I mounted mine to the Atlas jack plate using the mounting bracket from power pole. Took about an hour from start to finish.
